Damon Michels of the PruFoxRoach Office in Wayne was our realtor. Excellent pre-arrival ground-work such as exploration of our requirements made it easier to hone down on what really might be suitable for us in terms of type of house, location etc. Well-chosen internet listings and extensive & multiple telephone dialogues allowed a targeted visit (search) agenda once we arrived. Throughout, Damon has been extremely professional, focused on our needs -- the usually dreaded house-hunting turned out to be enjoyable thanks to Damon?s attitude, patience, competence, boundless energy and super nice personality. No pushy up-selling here ! When securing the chosen property Damon also worked well beyond the expected (late evenings, weekends etc). Further, Damon proved very helpful and resourceful when recommending (and arranging for meetings with) contractors for refurbishment work -- all of whom turned out to be excellent and very cost efficient / competitive.

All in all, establishing residential property ownership on the Main Line, Pennsylvania, could have been a daunting experience --or an overpriced / costly one. "During our first meeting, Damon exuded an amazing confidence and knowledge of the current area markets and his well planned ideas of marketing my house to the right buyers was right on target. He had an uncanny way of knowing what our thoughts were about pricing, staging and showing the house, and when other homes in the area had a trickle of serious buyers coming through, I was dealing with an absolute deluge of realtors and buyers.

Because of Damon's hard work, well placed and well promoted advertising, in addition to his extensive network of people, we were fielding three offers within the first five days our house was listed on the market. Damon always remained very patient with us and was always available to us whenever we had a question for him or just needed to vent our personal stresses of the situation. Having three offers led to some heavy negotiating from many parties and Damon handled it all like a true professional. He was honest, clear and concise with everyone involved and we ended up accepting a very strong, fair and clean offer. Damon remained by our side and went out of his way to help us through inspections and paperwork as we were then in a real pinch to find housing in Phoenix and needed to leave immediately. We felt, without question, we could count on Damon to oversee the entire transaction through to the end and be our eyes and ears for us while we went on our house hunt.

My husband and I had some serious conversations on the flight back from Phoenix and decided we should sell our rental property in Manayunk as well. Again, without question, we decided Damon would be the one to sell this property as well. Our rental house was an entirely different property than our own residence. It was a much smaller, lower priced and not in as perfect condition as our first home. Damon, however, treated it in the exact same manner as he had our first listing ? like it was the best house on the market. He walked us through all of our options and we ended up getting the house on the market within about 6 weeks. By the time the rental listed we had missed most of the "fall market" and we were headed into the cold weather and the holidays. My husband and I were bracing ourselves for one of the long-haul sales that are becoming the norm these days. But Damon came through again. Within three months the house was under contract, again with multiple offers and above asking price. We settled last week with another clean transaction!

We have recommended Damon to many people and keep his card on file for future reference when our friends call for his information. I would highly, highly recommend Damon Michels to anyone thinking of selling or buying a home. He is extremely talented and skilled in his profession. The service you receive is impeccable and his attention to detail is amazing. Now that our properties are sold we will actually miss working with him.

"I was a first-time homebuyer when I was referred to Damon Michels. I knew nothing about buying a home, the process or even what I really wanted. It took Damon little time to help me figure out what my ?perfect? fit would be and get me in the door. After four months in my new home, a loft in Center City, Philadelphia, I could not be happier.

What pleased me most about working with Damon was his ability to quickly eliminate listings based on the time he spent with me. Initially, I had little idea of what I wanted, other than a very broad price range. After a few visits to town homes, walk-ups, condos and lofts in various neighborhoods, we began to discover what I liked and what I did not like. Damon constantly picked up on my tastes and preferences and then rearranged future visits. I never felt that Damon was showing me something outside of my increasingly narrow preferences or that he was wasting my time with listings that would represent a step backward in the process.

Damon was successful with me because he never lost focus on my requirements. In one instance, Damon showed me a unit under his own listing. Damon told me that the owner was attempting to buy a parking space for the sole reason of putting a package together with the sale of the condo. At the time that I saw the condo, the owner had not yet secured a parking space to go along with the unit. Knowing that I would have a car and that parking is a premium in Philadelphia, Damon urged me to pass the listing up and go with options that only included parking. While other agents may have tried to persuade me that the owner may get a space shortly or that rental lots are nearby, Damon went against his own interests and thought of my requirements first.

Damon is a pleasure to work with and is an exceptionally good listener, easy to talk to and very prompt in returning my emails and calls. He walked me through the entire home buying process and explained everything very clearly. I never once felt pressured by him or that he was impatient with my questions. I highly recommend Damon to anyone fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with him.
